Mundaring Community Sculpture Park in the heart of the town of Mundaring, with its grassed Amphitheatre, playground and wooded areas creates just the right relaxed ambience as the Truffle Festival’s focal point.
Once a year dozens of marquees of all sizes turn the Park into a unique outdoor venue where you can wander, chat, buy, see demonstrations, be entertained and eat al fresco or under canvas.
Dining areas include the Licensed Food Piazza where well-known restaurants and chefs sell truffle-themed dishes, the Gumnut family picnic area with non-truffle themed food stalls, the Watershed Café, and the 200-seat long table lunch marquee.
The Fresh Truffle Market, Gourmet Produce Market, European Foods Tasting Tent, Slow Food Food Finders for kids, and the Perth Hills Wine Show marquee create a European-flavoured atmosphere.
Adjacent are The Cooking Zone and Food for Thought marquees with daily programs of cooking demonstrations and topical discussions.
Just a few metres away is The Hub where the Truffle Masterclass takes place on Saturday and celebrity chefs and food personalities will present sessions on Sunday, and the Mundaring Hotel, which will have a special Festival menu and entertainment.
The Mundaring Hall and Mundaring Arts Centre will house creative workshops, exhibitions and other activities.
